Last week we saw a phenomenal amount of snow in London. It’s quite refreshing, since we had torrential downpour around Christmas time.
GLUE spotted Felipe doing a wheelie on his Scott mountain bike in a park in London SW6. Of course, I couldn’t resist asking to photograph him.

Felipe is an MTB rider from Sao Paolo, Brazil. “I’m used to cycling in the mud in Brazil, but not in the snow.” Well, he was managing pretty well from our photos.
His Scott bike held very well in the snow too.

Apparently, it is much easier to practise a wheelie on a mountain bike than a BMX. According to Downcycles.com, this is because mountain bikes are very stable on the rear wheel. The front of the bike is fairly easy to lift up and the long wheel base inspires confidence.
Felipe uses his cool Samsung Galaxy camera to document his cycling, which can capture great slow-motion footage. The camera is slick and light enough to carry around. “I only got it this week,” he said.

Note: We discourage riders to do wheelie stunt in the snow – unless you really, really know what you’re doing, like Felipe.

That’s my brother !!!
He’s very talented.
